This "cookie-cutter" chain link in suburban Akron may lack "bells and whistles" but it "serves its purpose" with "easy on/off access to I-77" and a proximity to "shopping, dining and entertainment venues"; surveyors call it "adequate for most business travelers" but lousy for leisure, with "no indoor pool", "dirty" rooms in which "age has had its way" and the odd bedspread that could "walk across the room by itself" – but at least the free WiFi "actually works."

Staff went above & beyond in every way!
Physically getting to the front entrance was a challenge.
The incredible staff at this hotel is what made the difference for me and if I return to Akron I will stay there without a doubt! They were accommodating in so may ways, and honest! I left my gold earrings in the hotel room, checked out and realized about 3 hours later I left them in the room. I called and they checked and the staff member who cleaned the room turned them in so all I had to do was pick them up at my convenience! I've left things before at other places and was out of luck. Nice staff.
Beds were not comfortable.
When I was checking in a drunk couple were attacking the clerk about there key cards not opening the room and that it had not been cleaned. He treated them fine and gave them a $20 coupon each for breakfast. Liked that the non-smoking room was on a floor with all non-smoking rooms. ...read more

The weekend night bartender was exceptional. His personality greatly enhanced the stay.
Cleaning staff didn't leave kleenex and didn't clean our drinking glasses.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The only problem I encountered was a few minor mistakes by the cleaning staff. But overall, the facility and room were kept very clean.
